Good afternoon to all our friends and families in Pre Kindy!!!
W, W, W for Wednesday! Oh, what a wonderful Wednesday we all had today. This morning we enjoyed running, jumping, riding bikes, and baking a few delicious treats in our outdoor kitchen.
Today is Art Class day with our creative arts teacher Miss Vee! First she read an amazing book about eyes. We discovered so many different “eyes” and even made use of a magnifying glass while searching for the ant’s eye. Our children absolutely loved having the freedom to select what materials they wanted to use and enjoyed the creative process when they created their very own eye! Glitter and multi coloured paper filled the room.
After our class we then enjoyed a nutritious morning tea with all our friends, the toast with jam and honey was yummy, they loved!
We were on to our next adventure, the great outdoors! We climbed up to the very top of the tree house only to discover another surprise awaited us. Miss Livia had prepared an obstacle course for all our friends in Pre Kindy! We warmed up, balanced on a balancing beam, jumped on the dots, and finished with a remarkable roly-poly.
It is clear, that our children love learning and discovering new and exciting ways to keep their busy bodies happy and healthy through movement and enhancing our gross motor skills.
Some of our friends Joey, Emerson and Willian played soccer today, they are really good in it! Good work guys!
Interwoven into our discussions today was the topic of respect, respecting our environment, ourselves, our friends, and teachers. Miss Stacey taught us a song that she made and that highlighting kind words and how we could demonstrate respect. Also we read a book that Lily brought to share with us “Pig the Pug” that was perfect for the moment because it speaks of the same theme sharing, caring and respect our friends.
That was all for today, we hope you like the photos.
See you tomorrow Pre Kindy, we are immensely proud of you!
Lots of love
From Miss Livia and Miss. Stacey
