Good evening families and friends. Sorry I am a bit late putting up the blog today, I was having too much fun with my Schoolies. Today was International Day of Friendship and we celebrated this by the children creating a friendship tree using their fingerprints. As we engaged in this activity we also chatted about being friends, who we are friends with and that friendship plays a big part in promoting peace in many cultures. Some of the children also helped Miss Lyn with hand prints for our cultural display in the room. Other fun things we chose to engage in this afternoon are – puzzles (under the sea & the jungle), free painting, Lego construction, the click connector set and outdoors we used the balance beam, hula hoops and the soccer balls.
