Happy Friday one and all on this fun day in the Babies 1 Room. 😊 Miss Kate and Miss Jess welcomed just a small little group of 6 friends including – Isabella, Willow, Edward, Abs, Ruby and Scarlett. We were full into Christmas spirit today with our Christmas music playing throughout the day which we all respond well too. 😊 The children also participated in some Christmas craft this morning doing collage work to be creative and curious learners, which Willow, Bella and Edward particularly enjoyed. 😊 Piaget believed that children need creative play to develop their minds, bodies and spirits which I truly believe in this theory.
A huge congratulations to Abel’s family for winning the amazing Christmas Hamper which Santa drew yesterday at our Christmas party. 😊 It was wonderful to see so many of our families yesterday and myself and Jess would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU all for our very generous gifts and a wonderful year here in the Babies 1 Room.
Our new ‘Lennie the lion’ soft toys were well loved by Scarlett and Ruby this morning. It was really cute to seeing them explore and become comfortable in their environment. 😊
The ABECEDARIAN APPROACH is continuing to be embedded into everyday routines and transitions throughout the day with a focus of language being the priority which all children respond well to too in a positive and stimulating environment. 😊
It is my (Miss Kate’s) last day until mid-January today as I head back to the UK to celebrate Christmas with my family and sister’s Wedding. I leave you in the very capable hands of Miss Jess, alongside Miss Tania who is a regular face in our room. 😊
