Welcome back to all our amazing families here in the Babies One Room on this wonderful Monday!
To jump straight into our day, we started off in the yard this morning with some beautiful fresh air, and sunlight to kick start the amazing week ahead 😊 All our beautiful babies love outside, it really seems to spark a lot of interest, and excitement in their day, but it’s also so soothing for them all, so that is where we started our Monday morning. We were all drawn to the sandpit to being with, playing with the shovels, and buckets digging and making all kinds of interesting shapes with the sand. This activity is not only great for their stimulation and imagination, but also for their fine motor skills 😊
We later came inside to do some painting sensory activities, with Miss Lilly and Miss Stacey, all the babies took part in colouring in their own personal paper kites, with colourful vibrant colours of paint, and using a sponge to make it that little bit more stimulating, but of course fun 😊 This activity the babies loved and went crazy with paint all over their kites, which we will soon display all over our room. By doing so and putting on display gives the babies something to feel proud about and feel apart of something 😊
We all came together to sit as a group and enjoy our delicious lunch made by the amazing David, who mustered up chicken, tuna, rice and of course a yummy colourful salad to fill our babies tummies for the rest of our busy day 😊
As the afternoon made its way around, we opened the doors and enjoyed some indoor out door time allowing the babies to make their own personal decision where they would like to go and what they would like to do. This is a great way for the babies to express and to communicate to us through their action what is sparing their personal interests, which then we can extend on through art activities and put o display 😊
Overall, today in Babies one room we have had such a great day together, we are all learning, growing, and experiencing all kinds of fun stimulating sensory activities that spark all kinds of joy for our babies. Most importantly smiles and laughter to carry us through 😊
