Welcome back to yet another wonderful Monday, here in the Babies One Room 😊
Today we began our morning enjoying some group time together on the mat. We came together to read plenty of adventurous stories to officially welcome ‘book week’ into our room! The babies favourite story for our Monday is ‘Were going on a bear hunt’ they found this book to be exciting, fun, and full of action 😊 Whilst on the mat we enjoyed signing some beautiful nursery rhymes with the babies who loved clapping their hands, and stomping their feet, its beyond adorable 😊
We then moved onto the incredible ‘silver disco themed’ discovery box, created by our amazing Nads. She put together a box full of treasures that brought our babies so much joy, they all came together, and went crazy with excitement, they pulled apart the box to uncover all the hidden treasures inside. Discovering all kinds of useful tools such as, carboarded wrapped in alfoil, sensory bottles, pencil cases, cardboard cups, and placemats. This activity is a great way to stimulate their fin motor skills, stimulate their imagination, but also just a great activity for them to discover all new kinds of new fun 😊
Through the day we enjoyed some indoor outdoor play, where the babies had the opurtunity to choose as they please what, and where, they would like to go. This is a great way for them to communicate to us, what sparks their personal interest 😊 We had Parker, Oliver, Spencer, and Peyton finding themselves in the sandpit straight away, playing with the buckets and shovels. Whilst on the other hand we had Luna, Oskar and Olive playing with all our loose toys on the mat, exploring the vast variety of toys, in which they love doing so much 😊
As the afternoon made its way around, we enjoyed some valuable time together in the side yard, experiencing the new obstacle course, where every baby was very excited to test out. They all took turns walking over the beam, and attempting to climb up the bars, with our help of course 😊
Overall, today in the babies one room we have had a great day exploring, experiencing and being, but of course smiles and laughter to carry us through 😊
