Welcome to another fun filled week in the Babies 1 Room. Miss Kate and Miss Gabi welcomed 8 friends today including – Miller, Edward, Orion, Abel, Millie, Alfie, Oliver and Miller. This morning Miss Kate initiated making some special fans to start off the celebrations for CHINESE NEW YEAR. All children participated in this creative experience using collage on the fans with coloured paper and glue. 😊 We also were exposed to some loose parts play this morning with the wooden print blocks and some wooden balls that Miss Kate found at garage sale on the weekend. Orion, Bentley, Abs, Millie and Orion all were very curious learners. Loose Parts are a range of household and nature items that the children can use their imaginations and sensory skills to explore by being in a fun environment. If you have anything at home you can donate for us to explore, we would love this, thank you. 😊 Our new walkers and musical toys kindly donated by Miss Amanda, thank you were very popular with Edward, Oliver and Miller this morning. 😊 All children responded well to spontaneous singing, music and dancing throughout the days here in the Babies 1 room.
