Welcome to another fun filled week ahead in the Babies 1 Room here at Riversdale Early Learning Centre. 😊 Today we welcomed just the 7 little friends including – Rosie, Oliver, Edward, Millie, Orion, Lincoln and Abel. An extra special warm welcome to our new friend, Lincoln on his first day who had so much fun and fitted in so nicely to the room straight away exploring his new environment confidently. 😊 We started off our morning with a yummy morning tea to set us up for a busy day of craft work including CHINESE NEW YEAR fans and surprise VALENTINES artwork in the making. At mealtimes we encourage self-help skills and independence by being in a supportive environment.
Rosie participated in CHINESE NEW YEAR craft by doing collage work on a fan. Oliver, Rosie, Millie and Abel were all exposed to messy artwork for Valentine’s Day this morning alongside Miss Kate’s guidance. The children are confident and involved learners is LEARNING OUTCOME of the EARLY YEARS LEARNING FRAMEWORK. 😊 The children-initiated play and exploration of some of our new musical toys including Oliver, Edward and Abel having a dance along too. Orion and Abel were intrigued by the musical teddy in book area which was cute to observe them playing alongside each other. 😊
