Welcome to the Babies 1 Room with Miss Kate on this wonderful day. 😊 The children started their day outside this morning which Miller particularly thought was fun as she smiled exploring the wheelbarrows, blocks, rattles and sand play with the big trucks. 😊 Scarlett was eager to create her bunny ears this morning by sticking the fluffy cotton wool balls on the ears to take home for Easter. We can’t believe Easter in only next weekend as seems like Christmas wasn’t long ago – the say time flies when you’re having fun. 😊 Miller and Peyton participated in the RAINBOW TRAIL down at the bottom centre to signify joining in the world in sharing their pictures of rainbows in a bid to spread joy during this hard time of social distancing. 😊 Parker took a real liking to the dolls this morning as she confidently explored it with big smiles. 😊 Throughout the day the children confidently explored their learning environment and today they checked out some new puzzles, the stacking ring toy and wooden textured blocks. Part of Learning Outcome 4 of the EARLY YEARS LEARNING FRAMEWORK is Children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, confidence, cooperation, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination and reflexivity. 😊 Feel free to ask Miss Kate to see your child’s learning portfolio as you will see how we document them working towards these outcomes in their individual observations. 😊
Thanks for a great day Babies 1 – Miss Kate. X
