BABIES 1 – WEDNESDAY 10th JUNE 2020.

Welcome to wacky Wednesday here in the Babies 1 Room with Miss Kate and Miss Lilly today! An extra special warm welcome to our new friend Olivia on her first day who fitted in a treat exploring her new play surroundings with so much confidence. Bowlby believed in relationships being key to a child feeling safe and secure and that the term primary caregiving assists with this. Charlie was happy to be creative this morning exploring the paint with Miss Jade’s scaffolding her learning in a fun environment.

Parker, Edward, Oliver and Olive self-selected toys of interest from our shelves and today’s favourite things to explore were –• Sensory balls and bottles.
• Paintings for the Aged Care homes in the area.
• Books for conversational reading following the simple SEE – SHOW – SAY techniques to promote our language development.
• Spontaneous singing favourite songs throughout the day helps us all feel safe and secure.

The children thrive on being in a supportive environment where we ensure they have a strong sense of identity to feel safe, secure and protected to meet their developmental milestones here in the Babies 1 Room. Please let us know if there are any particular goals you are working on at home as we will do the same here for consistency of care for your child to reach their full potentials.

Thank you for a wonderful day Babies 1 – Miss Kate and Miss Lilly. XX
