♥♥ HELLO BABIES 2 ♥♥
We have had such a great day today. We have done a lot of indoor activities today due to the wet weather but we were able to go outside for a little play and morning tea before heading inside for some activities. Miss Hope set up some crayons and paper for the children to enjoy some drawing. They all love to draw and were happy drawing quietly for a while before moving on to self select their favourite activities in the classroom. The children enjoyed being inside and played together so beautifully. After a busy morning of playing Miss Hope and Miss T’arn put out some baskets and asked the children if they could help to pack away the classroom by putting the toys into the baskets. Everyone did such an amazing job at helping to pack away all the toys until our room was all packed away. Miss T’arn asked the children if they would like to sing some songs before we made our beds. We sat down together and Miss T’arn began to sing “Open Shut Them” all the children know the actions to this song and began to do them too. After the song finished Noah asked Miss T’arn for “Turtle” which is “Tiny Turtle Tim.” The children love to do the actions and dance moves to “Dingle Dangle Scarecrow.” We all laid on the floor as sleeping cows before jumping up to be Dingle Dangle Scarecrows. The loved it saying “more, more, more!!!” We sat back down together and did “Bee Bee Bumble Bee” Noah, Finley and Liz were so excited and confident to say their names before we all got up to make our beds. The children really enjoy being apart of all aspects of the day and have that responsibility to do things by themselves. They all helped bring out the mats and put them on the mat and got their sheets from Miss Hope and carried them to their beds. We are so proud to see how capable and confident all our big kids have become!!
Don’t forget it is our Christmas Party this Wednesday!! We are so excited!!
