Good afternoon everyone…
Happy Tuesday…. We had such a beautiful day in babies two today. Miss.Hansani and Miss.T’arn welcomed Liz, Avery, Cameron, Finley, Jackson and Max in the morning. We sung the good morning song and explored inside activities. Finley, Cameron and Avery enjoyed pushing the trucks around the room. Jackson and Max loved playing with the dinosaurs and the sea animals. Liz enjoyed squeezing her favourite water toys while she was playing around.
Then we washed our hands and enjoyed morning tea while we were sitting around the table. After the morning tea we headed to the outdoor yard to explore all the experiences we set up for the day. Children enjoyed climbing and walking on the beam, lifting soft blocks, crawling under the tunnel, and riding bicycles. Then we decided to do some messy sensory play before the lunch. So, we mixed flour and oil to make this sensory play. First, they observed touching and smelling the flour and started to roll it and squeeze it using their hands and fingers. Everyone sat around the sensory tray and happily engaged with the activity.
We will be engaging with more outdoor experiences in the afternoon.
