Hello, Babies 3 families. We`re having a really fun day!
Our day started with some play with our friends from Babies 1 and 2 while we`re waiting for everyone to arrive. It was raining outside, but It didn`t stop us to explore all the books, blocks, trucks, dolls and toys from our room. Liz decided to take some photos from miss Mel. Showed some talent! It was exciting to cheer our friends on.
Afterwards Delilah, Peyton, Liz and Halle helped miss Mel and Miss Vanessa to clean all our mess while the cleaning up song was playing. And then we could have a delicious morning tea with loaded veggie muffins and some delicious fruits.
After washing our hands, it was building time! Miss Mel got us some nice colourful blocks and we could build different things while we learned about the colours we`re using. Halle got really interested in the sensory blocks with different textures and colours, and Liz loved to put together the round blocks testing different sizes. Delilah built a really tall tower. Wow!
After a while, one of our favourite songs gave inspiration for the next activity: we all put our chairs together and pretended to be on a bus while singing “the wheels on the bus goes up and down.”. Peyton brought over a doll to join in our bus, even our dolls had a role play in this game. Was so much fun.
The best part of our morning came right after. Miss Mel and Miss Vanessa planned a sensorial activity with pink coloured rice, sieve cups and colourful pom poms, we could touch, feel, scoop, and spread rice everywhere. What a mess! We`ve learned a lot about sharing and about playing together, and at the same time, we could experience by ourselves some new sensations, like feeling the rice running down our hands.
For Lunch we had Classic Hawaiian Ahy Poke Bowls which filled our tummies. After that we went wash our hands and was finally time for some rest. What a morning!! We are all exhausted and ready for a nice long nap.
Thank you babies for a fabulous day of playing, exploring, singing, and dancing together.
See you all very soon.
Miss Vanessa and Miss Melinda. xxxx
