Good afternoon babies 3 families,
This morning we started the morning singing and dancing to Christmas carols. All the children love to get involved with this and have the biggest smiles on their faces. We then explored the room playing in home corner, twirling the ribbons, stacking the blocks, role playing doctors and making animal noises. We also loved driving the cars around the mat, saying ‘choo choo’ as we drove the trains around the track we built and drawing. We then had morning tea, today was banana French toast with fresh fruit. After morning tea we split into 2 small groups for outdoor play, we visited toddlers yard and climbed the big obstacle, excitedly watched the horses from the fence and rode the bikes. In our yard we also slide down the slide, sung row row on the sea saw, mowed the lawn and kicked the balls around. For lunch today we had fish and pinto bean baked with bread and salad. After lunch we went off to our beds for rest time. This afternoon we will have Christmas coconut snowballs for afternoon tea and a fun afternoon play.
