Good afternoon babies 3 families,
This morning we started the day inside discussing science week and this years theme of ‘deep blue’. Over the week the children all experienced our milk, food colouring and detergent experiment as well as water play and ice play with our sea animals. Today we extended further and made our very own wall display of an ocean. Using coloured paint we painted different animals to add to our blue wall. We also enjoyed role play with animals, doctors, home corner and the babies, driving around our transport cars and trains, reading books with our friends and educators and building with blocks.
Outside today the children enjoyed sand play, obstacle, ribbons, bikes, lawn mowers and having a big run in the yard.
For morning tea today we had yummy pancakes with fresh fruit, lunch was chicken curry with rice and salad and after a big rest we will enjoy afternoon tea and a big free choice play before going home.
