Good afternoon babies 3 families,
Today we started the day inside having free choice play. Some friends enjoyed role play in home corner and with the babies and doctor set, others enjoyed animals, transport and blocks. We also enjoyed choosing a book of the day for book week. Today we read the book ‘funny faces’. This is a great book that shows us all about faces we make when we feel a certain way.
Outside today we continued our Father’s Day craft… Shhh it’s a secret! The children are having so much fun completing these. We also had a very special visit from a bear, this was a great extension of our book reading and role play of ‘we’re going on a bear hunt’. We also had fun in the sand pit, climbing the obstacle, singing songs with our educators and riding the bikes.
For morning tea today we had —– and fresh fruit, lunch was chicken curry with rice and salad and after rest time we will enjoy afternoon tea and a nice play outside in the sun.
