Good afternoon Dear Families & Friends!
Today has been wonderful first day of Summer! The children had early play outdoors before become to hot. Augie, Rosie, Avery, Ruby and Orion played in the sand pit filling the buckets with sand using shovels. Once they finished sand play they run to slide on the slides and ride bikes. Blink of eye and it was a 9 o’clock and our friends headed inside for morning tea and enjoyed delicious fruit and coconut yogurt slice.
Miss Dom put Christmas Carols and all children started dancing and moving around, they showed their dancing talent and knowledge of nursery rhymes singing popular songs. Ruby went to the corner shelf and took coloured aquabatic ribbons shared to her friends one each and started to wave with them making rainbows in the room. Our friends moved to other corner where they did some fishing, using magnetic fishing sticks and tried to catch some sea creatures, they were very concentrated to catch as many as they can. Rosie, Bella and Ruby had so much fun playing with puppets and face masks, they giggled and laughed when Bella put tiger masks and looked her self in the mirror, then Orion took tigers ear and put them on and went to the mirror to see him self and he laughed, they looked so cute. Ariana pretended making tea in the kitchen, she asked Miss Jena if she wants so tea or coffee and Miss Jena said “Yes, tea please” and Ariana pour some tea in a tea cup and give to Miss Jena saying “there is tea”. Miss Jena organized red and green playdough play with various shapes and all children enjoyed to cut their favorite shapes. Our friends also enjoyed to stick Christmas stickers on the large piece of paper, we really had a great first day of Summer!
