♥ GOOD AFTERNOON FAMILIES ♥
Welcome to Babies One!!
We started our day exploring both outdoor and indoor experiences this morning while waiting all our friends arrive.
Inside the room the children enjoyed the bubbles which they all love to see and try to catch them, watching our reflections in the mirror, making funny faces and voicing an array of sounds to ourselves, banging on the different instruments, furthering our own individual milestones (walking, crawling, rolling) . Outside they had fun exploring the yard playing peek a boo in the tunnel, throwing and catching the ball, climbing onto the wooden climbing frames as this is their favourite experience now since more babies are getting more confident in their walking and balancing skills, reading books together with educators on the rug, threading beads on the activity centre, throwing balls to our friends in toddlers playground and pushing around the large truck all before we washed our hands to get ready for the morning tea and our morning sleeps.
Afterwards our friends who were awake had the opportunity to join in with babies two to engage with them for a sensory play with coloured pasta, feeling the different textures and talking about the colours on the spaghetti and penne pasta and the best part Tasting the pasta They all took the pasta, looked at trying to recognise what was that and then put straight away in the mouth, expressing their enjoyment with a happy grin and excitement all over their faces. All before heading back inside for our delicious lasagne and for some of our friends with some chicken lunch, which the children absolutely LOVED, showing this with the food all over our faces, hands and table and a huge smile upon each of the children’s faces before getting cleaned up and bed time for some of our friends.
