Good afternoon families
Welcome to babies one. It has been such a beautiful and busy day today. Miss.Hansani and Miss.Jess welcomed Olive, Oliver, Parker, Nash, Oskar, Peyton, Luna and Charlie in the morning. We started our day exploring outdoor activities in the morning. Then all our babies took the year end pictures today. So, we had to change our routine a bit today.
After the busy morning, we enjoyed our morning tea with some fruits and yummy cakes. Then we ventured some indoor experiences allowing children to choose activities on their own and enjoy different experiences freely. We also had some quality time singing some songs with Miss.Hansani while we were sitting on the mat. We sung ‘’If your happy and you know it, Raw raw raw your boat and Incy wincy spider’’.
Later, we decided to explore some more outdoor experiences such as climbing, lifting soft blocks and walking on the balancing beam with Miss.Jess. Then we played with the jelly that we made yesterday. This week we will be exploring different sensory activities including sensory bags. Yesterday we explored some sensory bags and today we played with red jelly. Children couldn’t wait to touch and play with jelly. They all ended up tasting it and squeezing it. They loved the red colour and the texture. It was a good opportunity to develop our fine motor skills through sensory activity.
