Good afternoon all lovely families,

Today was a fantastic Wednesday. While outside exploring the jungle gym, books and singing songs we welcomed Daris, Olive, Parker, Peyton, Hugo, Olivia, Oliver, and Charlie. we had some fun playing with other friends from Babies 2 and 3 before it was time to come inside for some morning tea.

Once we went inside, we practiced washing our hands before we had some morning tea. It was very yummy in our tummies. The morning tea was fruit with some raisin toast. Then once we finished morning tea, we went outside to explore the bigger babies’ yard. We enjoyed that a lot! We played in the sand pit, explored water play, played with the 3D shapes, and pushed the trucks around the yard. While outside we all shared with our friends and encouraged everyone to join in with us. It was lots of fun!

While some people were outside Miss Jess had setup a craft activity for Naidoc week. Miss Jess had some red, yellow, and black paint for our hands. Once we had red on one hand and black on the other Miss Jess would help us stick it onto the canvas, as we were making the Aboriginal flag from our handprints. It was a new sensation on our hands, very cold and smooth. We all enjoyed this craft a lot!

Time went so fast before we knew it, it was lunch time. For lunch it rices with curry and some vegetables. We practiced using spoons to eat. I was hard but we all had a go at it. we will continue to do this for the week.

Much love Miss Jess and Miss Otavia
