Good afternoon families…
welcome to babies two. Happy Wednesday… the crazy hair day… Miss.Hansani and Miss.Jade welcomed Avery, Liz, Finley, Cameron, Max, Tairongo and Jackson. It was so beautiful to see most of children’s and educator’s crazy hair styles.
We started our day having morning tea and playing inside. Children have been choosing to explore indoor activities as it was bit cold outside in the morning. Avery, Tairongo, Finley and Max have been choosing to explore the dinosaurs, wild animals, and the dinosaur puzzle together. Cameron, Liz, and Jackson enjoyed shaking sensory bottles exploring what’s inside the bottles. Miss.Jade joined with children to read some stories such as peppa’s Easter egg hunt and jack and the beanstalk. They were so excited to see the pictures while listening to the story. Then we have been engaging with dancing to practice our body parts while singing ‘’ head shoulders knees and toes ‘’. We have continued the egg carton craft with Liz today.
Children spent outside in the afternoon exploring the outdoor activities to improve and implement their gross motor skills. Finley, Tairongo, Jackson and Max were extremely excited to walk and climb on the climbing beam. They engaged confidently in this activity as they have good balancing skills. Then we headed to the big yard and joined with babies tree friends. Avery, Liz, Finley, Tairongo and Max enjoyed playing in the sand pit while Jackson and Cameron enjoy playing on the slide.
