Good Afternoon families!!

Welcome to babies two♥

This morning Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane welcomed Olive, Indiana, Emma, Austin, Roman, Chester, Asher and Roman with lots of cuddles. We are so glad to mention that all the children had such a great day as they all well settled in the room and loved engaging with experiences that we plan. This morning we started our day exploring indoor experiences and headed to our favourite outdoor yard to engage with some exciting experiences. Outside, Olive, Chester and Oskar enjoyed playing in the sand pit with all the shovels, baskets and excavators in the sand pit. When I asked Chester, ‘’What are you doing in the sand pit?’’ He smiled and laid on the sand pretending that he was swimming. Olive always loves to use her hands to dig holes and hide her arms in there. Oskar used shovel to dig the sand and used the excavators to transport them. Asher loves running around the yard and wave to the people who passes the fence. And his favourite experience is walk on the soft blocks to demonstrate his balancing skills. Austin also joined with Asher to walk on the soft blocks and then crawl under the fabric tunnel. Roman was so excited to go on the slide with Emma. Miss Jin helped them to take the steps and sit properly on the top of the slide before they go down. Emma was laughing and clapping the whole time when she was going on the slide. Indiana enjoyed riding her favourite bike and then she sat on a pram asking Miss Hansani to push her around the yard. Then the funky feet arrived to do some dancing. The dancing teacher offered children with different resources such as hula-hoops and shakers and let them to choose anything they like and do some dancing steps with their favoutrite resources. For morning tea, Children enjoyed mango tango coconut granola.

For the story time Miss Hansani read a story called ‘’Easter Egg Surprise’’. All the children sat on the book corner to listen to the story. Before we start the story We decided to sing ‘’Head shoulder’’ song as some of the children have being showing interest on practicing their body parts. So we thought this is a great opportunity to practice our body parts together. Indiana, Olive, Chester, Oskar and Austin were s excited to show the body parts while I was singing Miss Jin encouraged Asher, Roman and Emma to show their body parts with the songs. Olive absolutely enjoyed singing along with Miss Hansani.

Thank you everyone for wearing white for the ‘’white balloon day’’ and donating gold coins. Today we decided to engage with an experience that related to the ‘’white balloon day’’ with our babies. Miss Hansani set up the table with a tray with white paint, red papers and a blue balloon to engage with a balloon painting. Children have been successfully engaging with different art experiences all week. They absolutely loved using different resources to engage with art experiences. Olive, Oskar, Emma, Indiana, Chester, Asher, Roman and Austin they all had a turn to demonstrate their art skills. Miss Hansani demonstrated how use the balloon to dip in the paint to create a beautiful artwork. Everyone watched Miss Hansani first and waited to have their turn. Children used their both hands to hold the balloon and dip in the paint and press it on the red paper. For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious Mexican bawl. For afternoon tea, we will be enjoying pumpkin, chia and oatmeal bars

We practice our self-help skills by using forks and spoons for mealtime to feed ourselves, put the hats on, find the drink bottles and wash our hands. Our new goal is encouraging children to put their dishes, bibs and drink bottles away in the baskets after mealtime. We encourage children to find their own cot now. We encourage older children to walk to the bathroom and use the stairs to reach to the changing mat and wash their hands after changing nappies by themselves.

For one-on-one time, Austin and Roman engaged with stacking turtles to practice their fine motor skills. Oskar solve the sensory animal puzzle while Olive and Indiana engage with stacking the big wooden rings. Chester read a story called ‘’never touch a grumpy bunny and he shared the book with Emma to touch the sensory parts of the book. Asher loved the wild animals so we set up the jungle with different animals such as dinosaurs, cow, sheep and lion to play with

Please pack some clothes for warm weather as it can get really warm in the afternoon now.

Remind – Please fill the bottle receipt on the front desk for each day

Much love Miss Hansani and Miss Jin!!
