Good afternoon families!!

Welcome to babies two♥

This morning Miss Hansani and Miss Jin welcomed Austin, Oskar, Emma, Indiana, Roman, Chester and Asher with lots of cuddles. We started our day exploring the babies one outdoor yard. Outside, Chester and Oskar enjoyed climbing on the wooden climbing frame. Oskar started climbing from one side so, Chester started to climb from the other side. Once they meet from the top Miss Hansani asked them ‘’do you want to give a high five for climbing the big frame’’. They both smiled and gave a high five for each other saying ‘’yayyy’’. Asher loved crawling under the tunnel, so he held Emma’s hand and invited her to join with him to crawl under the tunnel. Emma refused to crawl under the tunnel first but once she realised how fun it was, she decided to join with Asher. They had so much fun entering the tunnel from different sides and meet at the middle of the tunnel. Roman joined with us in the big yard. Indiana found some musical instruments from the big wooden box, so she sat on the mat and enjoyed playing with them. She decided to bang the shakers on the floor, Clap with the sticks and use the stick to play the mini piano. Austin loved to push the walkers and movers around the yard and talk to his friends using his own language. He pretended that he was hiding to encourage Miss Hansani to say peek-a-boo. That was so funny. For morning tea, Children enjoyed mango tango coconut granola.

For the group time we joined with babies three to do some dancing. The funky feet arrived and she offered children hula-hoops and played the hula-hoop song and had so much fun dancing to the hula-hoop song with hula-hoops. Then the dancing teacher offered children with pink and blue colour pompoms and encouraged children to do limbo. Children had so much fun crawling and walking under the pole with pom poms in their hands. As we spent more time in babies one yard this morning, we decided to explore our big yard after the dancing session. Outside, Roman had lots of cuddles from his brother this morning and he happily engaged with different experiences. Roman enjoyed pushing the mowers around the yard, kick and throw a soccer ball and he did not forget to play in the sand pit. Roman absolutely enjoyed filling up the little basket by digging the sand pit using his hands. Oskar and Austin also joined with Roman. Oskar decided to fill a basket with sand by digging the sand pit using a shovel while Austin was playing with a little plastic boat on the sand. Austin enjoyed pushing the boat on the sand and then through the sand. Chester accidently dropped some sand on the grass while he was transporting sand to the other side of the sand pit. Chester said ‘’OH OOO’’ looking at Miss Hansani. Miss Hansani suggested Chester to put the sand back in the sand pit together. So Chester grabbed a shovel and started to put them back in the sand pit. Indiana was riding her favourite bicycle and she also decided to help us put the sand back in the sand pit. She got off from the bike and started to collect sand using her hands. Good teamwork friends. Oskar enjoyed riding the bicycles outside and then play with the soccer balls with Asher and Emma. For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious Mexican bawl. For afternoon tea, we will be enjoying pumpkin, chia and oatmeal bars

We practice our self-help skills by using forks and spoons for mealtime to feed ourselves, put the hats on, find the drink bottles and wash our hands. Our new goal is encouraging children to put their dishes, bibs and drink bottles away in the baskets after mealtime. We encourage children to find their own cot now. We encourage older children to walk to the bathroom and use the stairs to reach to the changing mat and wash their hands after changing nappies by themselve.

For one-on-one time, Austin and Roman practiced their fine motor skills by stacking the soft blocks. Oskar and Indiana engaged with doing the alphabet puzzle while Chester was engaging with the number puzzle. We continued practicing the colours as most of the children have being showing their interest on practicing colours with flash cards.

We have put up the daily blog, daily programming and daily pictures up on the wall just before where we enter to the babies room. Miss Jess has created a book called babies two memories with photos of special experiences that we engaged with. Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane will continue the book. Parents can have a look at the book any time, it will be displayed on the parents hub just before you enter to the room.

Please pack some clothes for warm weather as it can get really warm in the afternoon now.

Remind – Please fill the bottle receipt on the front desk for each day

Much love Miss Hansani and Miss Jin!
