Jingeri families,
What an outstanding day this Friday was for our new little Babies Two room, as we got to watch the Kindergarten room prepare for their end of year graduation ceremony. The excitement was palpable, and the pride was felt around the Riversdale family.
Noah, Lara and Jackson enjoyed a special access view to the entire process through our connection to Toddlers One room, allowing us to watch the team clear and prepare the room, and then transform it into a magical space to wish our kindergarteners well as they move on to big school next year. A wonderful demonstration of hard work and perseverance, which supports our incorporation of the Socio-cultural understandings of early childhood development. This perspective holds that children acquire ways of thinking by working with and observing adults and more skilled peers, transferring language and culture through social interaction within communities.
