Good afternoon families!!
Welcome to babies two….
This morning Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane welcomed Olive, Daisy, Indiana, Loki, Zeppelin, Chester and Oskar with lots of cuddles. Today we explored experience with babies 3, we played together with some toys such as cars, books and blocks. Chester enjoyed playing in the home corner, he pretended that he was a chef serving the food on a tray. Daisy enjoyed reading one of the book from spot’s library. Oskar played peek a boo with miss Hansani and he absolutely loved wearing a hat on and cover his face while he was playing peek-a-boo. Indiana and Daisy played together building blocks and made a tower. Olive and Chester were so lovely together. They spent lot of time laying on the cushions and smiling to each other. For morning tea we enjoyed scrumptious coconut banana split.
For the group time we sang the song called ‘’walking in the jungle’’ song and did some dancing. Everyone was so excited, especially Olive, Oskar, Indiana, Chester and Loki. When Olive hears names of the animals, she would makes the right sound they make.
Today to celebrate a ‘’Crazy Hair day’’ we dress up with amazing costumes. We enjoyed this moment with our friends form babies 3 outside. Was such a happy and fun time. The children loved the dress up experience! Olive was so excited when she saw all the costumes, she was the first one to dress up! She loved the red princess dress! Daisy was so cute with the tiger costume! . Oskar pretended that he was a bunny with his ears. Loki loved the superhero cap and he played in the sandpit with his cap! Indiana was a crocodile! Chester dressed up with different costumes, but his favourite was the tiger!. Then we had a yoga! Was such a calm and relaxing time. The yoga teacher read an amazing book about ‘’where the pig lives’’. All of them enjoyed the story time. Loki was really interested on the animals and their houses during the story time. Indiana was sitting nicely close to the yoga teacher, she demonstrated that she was enjoying and understanding the story. For lunch we enjoyed yummy sausage roll. For afternoon tea we will be enjoying salsa and smash avocado with pita crisps.
In the afternoon we will be engaging with more outdoor experiences and then indoor free experiences.
We practiced our self-help skills by using spoons for meal time to feed ourselves, put the hats on, find the drink bottles, find the water bottles and wash our hands. Also Our goal is to encourage our children to put away their bottles in the bottle basket and bibs in the bibs basket. We tried this experience after mealtime and everyone successfully put away their bibs and drink bottles away with their educators directions. Don’t forget to have a look at the photos that we put up on the wall. They were too cute.
For one on one time, Miss Hansani sat on the mat with Zeppelin and sang ‘’Twinkle twinkle, Incy wincy spider’’ and bunch of songs and practiced clapping and let him enjoy some singing time. Zeppelin was so happy to look at my face smiling, throwing his arms up and kicking his legs on the floor as he was so excited. We also put a beautiful hat on for Zeppelin for the dress up theme today.
We have put up the daily blog, daily programming and daily pictures up on the wall just before where we enter to the babies room. Miss Jess has created a book called babies two memories with photos of special experiences that we engaged with. Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane will continue the book. Parents can have a look at the book any time, it will be displayed on the parents hub just before you enter to the room.
