Good afternoon families
Welcome to babies two. This morning we welcome Bella, Olive, Daris, Forrest, Oskar and Roman with big cuddles. While we were waiting all our friends to arrive, we had a little outdoor play in babies yard. While we all enjoy crawling in the tunnel, climbing on the climbing frame, Riding bicycles and throw the balls around the yard, we listened to the ‘’good morning song’’ and ‘’Five little monkeys’’. This morning Daris and Forrest had a play throwing and licking the balls around while Bella crawls under the tunnel. Olive was so excited to see her brother able this morning and they had such a beautiful interaction. Bella did really well climbing on to top of the climbing frame and then clapped saying ‘’yayy… ‘’ with the biggest smile.
Then we enjoyed some French toast with raspberry dipping and yummy fresh fruits for morning tea. It was nice to see our friends are aware of their routine at kindy as they know to wash their hands and sit at the table nicely after changing nappy. Inside, Roman enjoyed shaking the little musical instruments and shakers to make beautiful sounds. Also he loves these colourful little soft blocks to play with as they are perfect for his hands and can stack them one on one. Then it was time to explore this big yard with big experiences. we opened up the doors and put the hats on. Forrest, Daris, Bella and Olive ran to the sand pit straight away. Olive and Forrest enjoyed filling tubs with sand while Bella run her fingers on sand to create lines and holes. Daris had a play with a dinosaur on sand saying ‘’wraaa……’’. Oskar absolutely loved rocking on the dinosaur as he rocked it fast without any hesitation.
For the National reconciliation day, we set up an activity for our little babies to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements as Australians. Babies two and Three friends joined together and experienced with colouring little babies with different colours. All the children happily engaged with the experience. We will be engaging with some more outdoor experiences this afternoon.
Much love Miss.Hansani and Miss.Jess
