Good afternoon families!

Welcome to babies two♥

This morning Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane welcomed Emma, Indi, Forrest, Chester, Zeppelin, Austin and Asher. We started our day greeting everyone and singing good morning song. We decided to explore indoor experiences until the lunch time as it was a little bit wet outside. Inside, Chester enjoyed solving the new animal puzzle while Emma was playing with the big turtle, try to get his hidden head out by pressing all the buttons. Austin and Emma enjoyed using the magnifying glasses to look at the dinosaur skeleton. Chester and Asher joined with them to have a look at the dinosaur skeleton and touch and feel the different textures. Forrest Played in the home corner with Indiana. While Indiana was pretending to cook using pots, pans and spoons, Forrest emptied the vegetable basket and put it on his head saying ‘’hat..hat..’’. Zeppelin practiced his fine motor skills by pressing the buttons of big turtle after Emma had her turn. Well done Zeppelin.

For the story time Miss Hansani read a book called ‘’the fruits’’. R=Everyone sat at the book corner to join with Miss Hansani. Then we turned the pages one by one and had a look at the pictures of different fruits. Miss Hansani encouraged children to practice the names of the fruits such as Strawberry, Blueberry, Banana, Apple, Pineapple and Orange. Indiana Chester and Forrest were able to say blueberry, banana, apple and strawberry. Well done friends. We will keep practice new words every day. Then we played ‘’The fruit songs’’ to do some dancing with everyone. Austin, Indiana and Forrest absolutely enjoyed showing their dancing skills. As Forrest requested ‘’baby shark’’ song, we then played his favourite song.

As we have been talking about fruits all day, we decided to encourage children to engage with an artwork with colours of fruits. Miss Tatiane brought a bawl of fruits such as Strawberries, orange, banana and pear. We let the children to have a look at the colours and practice each colour of the fruit. We then used two trays of colours with each fruit colour and offered children white papers and paint brushes to freely use any colours and create their own artwork inspired by the fruit colours. Everyone used their own paint brush to dip in the paint and colour the paper. The colour combination looked beautiful at the end. For lunch, we enjoyed crispy potato rosti and chicken pom poms. For afternoon tea, we will be enjoying fresh apple, pear and raspberry compote. For one-on-one time, As we have been focusing on fruits and colours of the fruits today, Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane used flash cards to practice some colours such as blue, green, red, orange and purple with each child.

We have put up the daily blog, daily programming and daily pictures up on the wall just before where we enter to the babies room. Miss Jess has created a book called babies two memories with photos of special experiences that we engaged with. Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane will continue the book. Parents can have a look at the book any time, it will be displayed on the parents hub just before you enter to the room.

Please pack some clothes for warm weather as it can get really warm in the afternoon now.

Remind – Please fill the bottle receipt on the front desk for each day

Much love Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane..
