Good afternoon to our lovely families,

We started the day by greeting everyone upon arrival with a big hello and hug. We then had showed our friends what we had been exploring in the yard. We started off by showing them the sandpit, obstacle course, 3D shapes, bikes, and dolls. Which interacting with our friends, Miss Hansani had sat down with some friends and started to sing some songs to start the day. The songs we had enjoyed singing were Row, Row your boat, Wheels on the bus, ABC and lastly Bee Bee bumble bee which we moved inside afterwards to wash our hands for morning tea. We pushed our chairs to the table then placed our bibs over our heads and sat down nicely, wonderful to see children are learning the routines and becoming comfortable in the environment. After filling our tummies, it was time to explore the room.

While exploring the room Miss Jess had arrived and lots of cuddles were given, during this time we also participated in our transportation activity for the day which was completing some puzzles. The puzzles had an ambulance, fire truck, police car and an emergency helicopter. Both Loki and Bella loved completing the puzzles and Olive had helped Braxton with the puzzles, as she encouraged him and sat down with him while he completed it. Daisy had sat with Miss Jess while completing the puzzles lots of fun they were! Before we knew it was time to get ready for the wonderful incursion which was held down at the senior yard with all our wonderful friends in the Centre. We enjoyed listening to some stories we also did some singing, clapping, dancing, and learning how to play some aboriginal instruments such as the didgeridoo, boomerangs, sticks and drum. We were all interested in the musical instruments it made us all boogie to the beet, we loved it! Once the show was over it was time to head back to our room and get ready for some yummy lunch which was a variety of vegetables such as beetroot, pineapple, peas, corn, carrot, and cucumber. Braxton and Loki love beetroot. Daisy enjoyed eating the pineapple and olive loves her peas and corn. We also had a delicious Greek spanakopita parcels which everyone demolished! Everyone had seconds and loved the spanakopita parcels which we had also dipped into tzatziki dip, which was wonderful. This had filled our tummies before it was rest time.

We want to remind parents there is a Parent Educator Meeting coming up on the 1st of June 2021. This is for all parents to have the opportunity to talk with Miss Hansani about your children’s development and to have a look through the observation books. This would be wonderful as you can asked many questions and communicate what more you would like your child to develop at this age. The times for parents to book in is between 3pm and 5pm. Each family will be given 15minustes with Miss Hansani on this day. Please book in what time you would like by written on the booking sheet which will be displayed on the bag shelf.

Much love Miss Hansani and Miss Jess xoxo 💕
