Good Afternoon Families!!!

Welcome to babies two!

This morning Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane welcomed Scottie, Daisy and Braxton with lots of cuddles. We started our day exploring outdoor experiences as usual. The sandpit were the most popular this morning, Daisy, Scottie and Braxton had a lot of fun building some sand castles and filling up the red buckets with sand..  Miss Otavia helped children to fill sand into the plastic tubs so the children can flip them over to make castles. Scottie and Daisy enjoyed ‘‘The big Fish’’ book, they discovered the different shapes and the colours of each fish under the sea. Braxton enjoyed going down on the slide and when he landed at the bottom he would laugh. For morning tea, children enjoyed yoghurt, strawberry jam, granola and banana.

We enjoyed the group time with babies 3 today!  Miss Otavia put some songs outside so everyone can dance!!! We listened to  baby shark, alphabet songs, 5 littles monkey jumping in the bed, wheels on the bus, etc….  Daisy, Braxton and Scottie had a lot of fun and enjoyed showing their dancing skills. Braxton loved the baby shark song, he was excited to copy the dancing movements with his educators. Was so cute! Miss Tatiane held Daisy’s hands to dance together, she loved dancing 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. Scottie enjoyed the group time with her friends around!

Today we continued doing our water playing activity as the weather was perfect to enjoy outside!  Miss Tatiane set up the sensory table with water and lot of Colourful balls. Braxton absolutely loved touching the water and throwing the balls around,  and splash the water. Scotties enjoyed keeping her hands in the water  and play with the balls! . Daisy loved the colourful balls too, she was so excited to pick a ball and splash water using the other hand. For lunch, we enjoyed yummy pizza scrolls along with a salad bar.  We will be enjoying Organic Apple, cranberry and with bean crumble bars.

We practice our self-help skills by using forks and spoons for mealtime to feed ourselves, put the hats on, find the drink bottles and wash our hands. Our new goal is encouraging children to put their dishes, bibs and drink bottles away in the baskets after mealtime. We encourage children to find their own cot now. We encourage older children to walk to the bathroom and use the stairs to reach to the changing mat and wash their hands after changing nappies by themselves.

For one-on-one time, Scottie practiced some gross motor skills by throwing a ball and trying to reach the ball after throwing. Daisy engaged with the blue hula hoop trying to walk around with, she did really well! Braxton enjoyed the music time outside today, he was interested of learning baby shark dance, so Miss Tatiane encouraged him to dance with her while holding hands.

Remind – Please fill the bottle receipt on the front desk for each day.

Much love Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane
