Good afternoon families…
Welcome to babies two… today we spent such a beautiful time with our friends Loki, Olive, Bella, Valencia and Winston… We started our day exploring indoor experiences as usual. Today we set up our book corner with lots of new books, the table with sensory blocks, sensory dinosaur cards, mirrors with dinosaurs and sea creatures. It was so much fun. Loki loved the puzzle area, and he chose to play with the animal puzzle as he can hear the sounds they make when he put the puzzle pieces in the right spot. Olive got so excited to see all the new books, so she sat on the mat with Valencia and started to go through each page as they are so colourful and sensory. Bella had so much fun playing with Olive today they loved stacking the blocks together. Winston absolutely loved the magnifying glasses. He was walking around putting the magnifying glass close to his eyes as he can see everything bigger. Then we went outside, played with the soft blocks, the slide, push the movers around and played in the sand pit a bit. Then we came inside as it was really hot outside today. Thanks Olive for bringing a post card to put in our post box and to sharing your holiday experience.
We had lots of water and sat at the table to do some painting. Winston did his finger painting with Autumn inspired colours. Loki did finger painting, cotton ball painting, feather painting, leaf painting and the handprints for the family tree. Then we made some sensory bags for the Autumn theme. So, we made them with shaving foams, white stones, glitter paint and natural resources such as leaves and flowers. They loved to squeeze them and feel the different textures in each bag. It has been such an amazing day..
