Welcome to babies two ♥
his morning Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane welcomed Olive, Chester, Tommy, Loki, Daisy, Asher and Oskar with lots of cuddles. Everyone was so settled in the room and happily engaged with the experiences we planned. We started our day exploring outdoor experiences as the weather was really nice. Tommy had such a good time at the book area outside. Tommy loves to lay on his tummy so he can observe his environment and communicate with his friends and educators. Miss Tatiane offered him a book to see his reaction and he absolutely loved looking at the colourful animals on the book. Daisy, Olive, Loki and Oskar enjoyed exploring the yard as a group and they demonstrated their gross motor skills by engaging with obstacle courses, climbing on the climbing frame, walking on the balancing beam and carrying soft blocks from one place to another. Chester enjoyed bawling and pouring water for the flowers. Asher absolutely enjoyed pushing the mowers and wheelbarrows around the yard. For morning tea, homemade beans with sourdough turkish.
For the group time Miss Tatiane read a book called ‘’The naughty list’’. Today Chester chose this book as his favourite. Olive helped Miss Tatiane to turn the pages. While Miss Tatiane was reading the book, She encouraged children to repeat the words that she says. We started doing our Father’s Day arts and crafts as we are celebrating the Father’s Day this weekend. So, Today Olive, Chester, Oskar, Loki, Daisy and Asher engaged with doing a beautiful painting and handprints to add for the Father’s day present. Tommy enjoyed this experience as a sensory play. Miss Tatiane offered him some paint to play with so he can paint his own hands to do his handprint. Tommy absolutely loved touching the cold paint and fell the texture. Outside Miss Mel read a book called ‘’big fish little fish’’. Olive was so excited to recognise the colour of each fish and she got the purple fish right and then pointed at the yellow fish saying ‘’black fish’’. Miss Mell replied her saying ‘’it’s a yellow fish Olive’’… Olive absolutely loves reading books and practice new words. For lunch we enjoyed rainbow sushi bowl
For one-on-one time, We offered children with different experiences allowing them to choose the activities as their interest. Oskar, Chester, Olive and Daisy engaged with the new animal puzzle and they enjoyed matching the animals and feel the sensory parts of the puzzle. Chester and Olive recognized the animals and they pointed saying ‘’Bunny rabbit, puppy dog and bird’’..
We have put up the daily blog, daily programming and daily pictures up on the wall just before where we enter to the babies room. Miss Jess has created a book called babies two memories with photos of special experiences that we engaged with. Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane will continue the book. Parents can have a look at the book any time, it will be displayed on the parents hub just before you enter to the room. Please pack some clothes for warm weather as it can get really warm in the afternoon now. Remind – Please fill the bottle receipt on the front desk for each day
