This morning Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane welcomed Loki, Oskar, Indiana, Tommy, Zeppelin, Braxton and Forrest with lots of cuddles this morning. We explored indoor experiences in the morning as it was really cold outside. Indiana, Loki and Oskar played in the home corner together while Braxton and Forrest were exploring the puzzle area. Zeppelin enjoyed talking to Miss Hansani and Listen to few songs such as ‘’TWINKLE TWINKLE…, INCY WINCY..’’ Zeppelin gave me the biggest smile as he enjoyed the songs. For morning tea we enjoyed organic fruit toast and delicious coconut jelly
This morning we thought it would be nice to play some music in the room to do some dancing to the ‘’Sleeping bunny’’ Song. Indiana, Forrest, Braxton, Loki and Oskar were so excited to show us some dancing skills. Miss Tatiane set up the table with green and purple play-dough with cookie cutters. Braxton loved using his hands to make different shapes. Loki enjoyed using cookie cutters to create different shapes. His favourite was carrot shape cookie cutter. Forrest enjoyed using the rolling pin to roll the play dough. Indiana and Oskar used their fingers to make holes on the play-dough.
Then We headed to the outdoor yard to engage with some challenging experiences. Children engaged with different experience and explored different challenging activities as their interest. Indiana, Loki and Braxton enjoyed walking on the balancing bridge taking turns and demonstrate their balancing and gross motor skills. Forrest loved crawling on the balancing beam while Oskar play in the sand pit. For lunch we enjoyed Thai veggie balls and sesame chicken noodle salad
For afternoon tea we will be enjoying bumbleberry crumble bars. In the afternoon we will be engaging with more outdoor experiences and then indoor free experiences. We practiced our self-help skills by using spoons for meal time to feed ourselves, put the hats on, find the drink bottles, find the water bottles and wash our hands. For one on one We engaged with doing the dinosaur puzzle and stacking rings.
We have put up the daily blog, daily programming and daily pictures up on the wall just before where we enter to the babies room. Miss Jess has created a book called babies two memories with photos of special experiences that we engaged with. Miss Hansani and Miss Tatiane will continue the book. Parents can have a look at the book any time, it will be displayed on the parents hub just before you enter to the room.
Today all our babies enjoyed the activities we set up both inside and outside. Especially they enjoyed engaging with outdoor free experience and engage with the play dough experience.
