Good afternoon and Happy Friday!
On this beautiful morning we welcomed Isabelle, Thomas, Ariana, Lara, Ava, Delilah, Myah, August, Isabella, Tai, Ruby, Quintin, and Harlow outdoors to enjoy some spontaneous play. Our friends demonstrated interest in racing bikes around the yard, sand pit cooking, reading books and collecting sand with diggers! When it was time to transition inside for morning tea, we sat down and read “follow that tiger” and our new and updated version of “Bee Bee” with Miss Jordan. Its called “boom Shaka Laka – what’s your name! (our friends have started singing “boom shaka laka boom boom” lately, so we adapt it to our bee bee and they love it!)
After morning tea, we enjoyed our Funky Friday dancing with Miss Jeni, we were all very excited! As our friends are growing so fast, they are improving each week at dance and really enjoy it at the same time. Miss Steph then got us all to sit down in book corner to practice calm breathing to slow down after a busy morning of dancing and playing. Before heading back outside to the side playground for another run around before transiting inside for some lunch.
We are now all resting our bodies after such a busy day.
