Happy Friday to all our wonderful friends and families in the Kindergarten Room alongside Mr Andrew, Miss jess and Miss Kate! 🙂 We started our day outside this morning where the weather was so windy which gave us lots of energy to burn off as we all got physical with lots of running around, exploring the sandpit, mud kitchen and looking at some books too! 🙂
It was soon time to head inside for our regular daily morning routine of the roll call, calendar changing and also participating in some beautiful interactive songs to warm up our bodies! The children feel safe and secure when we have a consistent regular routine that they learn to predict here in the Kindergarten Room! 🙂 Miss Jess asked for the children’s feedback on favourite songs which lots of children voted for the ‘Colours of Australia’ this morning. We value the children’s feedback and embed this into our everyday programs so they all feel connected and respected. 🙂
Mr Andrew planned some amazing activities as always for the children today including –
- Making superhero bracelets to conclude SUPERHERO WEEK!
- Table Tennis ball races down the slides.
- Funky Feet Dancing with Miss Jen.
- Cricket games.
Our indoor/free choice activities included –
- Construction activities.
- Home corner kitchen.
- Puzzles.
- Card games/Board games.
- Art corner set up with paints.
- Water play/pouring practice.
The children watched a video about being the Boss of your own Body to recognise NATIONAL CHILD PROTECTION WEEK, then we all reflected what we learnt from the video.
