Welcome to our Friday blog.
Today was a great day filled with lots of laughs and outdoor play.
We had Funky Feet dancing today and the children were absolutely buzzing to see Miss Jeni and get their groove on.
At group time we watched some videos about what foster care means and talked about the Pyjama foundation. This sparked lots of discussions about why we love our families and are fortunate to have them. Afterwards we warmed up with some delicious hot chocolates and morning tea.
Other popular activities today included exploring the world map with indigenous stickers and other famous landmarks and painting different flags from the flag book. We are trying to extend the range of activities we have in the class and offer some more fine motor skill activities like water pouring, scooping, threading sand play and much more.
In the afternoon there were lots of fun games on offer like hangman, cricket, soccer, music time and the children had an absolute ball.
Thanks for a great day everyone and see you next week.
