Hello Families and welcome to Monday, I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
We have welcomed a new friend today, welcome Jacob we hope you have a great time in our class.
Today the children have been able to explore the playground early and playground as a group. The children enjoyed putting me in jail and showing Jacob around. They have also enjoyed cooking in the sandpit.
Upon coming inside the children have loved being able to explore the human body, today we learnt about how our muscles work. The children have loved discovering how their bodies work, Emily was excited to discover that there was something other than blood around her bones. We have also been able to discover where the muscles are in our body and what they feel like, Jaxon liked learning about why there is a big bump in the back of his leg.
We have also explored some basic number patterns, we have used some colourful clowns to create some patterns. This activity will help the children to develop the rhythm of maths and counting. Matthew and Levi have enjoyed creating the patterns.
