Welcome families to Thursday were terrific things have happened today.
We have welcomed a new friend Levii to our class today, he has settled well and is enjoying making friends with the children within the classroom. The children have had a lovely time engaging in Arakan and strengthening our core muscles. We have also been able to use our gross motor muscles as we train with Mr Dan.
The children have been making some amazing craft today, we have made crazy masks like we saw yesterday on our excursion. The children have used their creative skills as well as their memories of our experiences yesterday. Hayley told me that she was making a scary mask to scare her teachers. Emily surprised everyone with her lovely mask, Miss Sharon didn’t even know it was her under the mask. Elsewhere in the classroom we have used the construction tools to make some fast cars with Matthew racing Levii to see who made the fastest car. Layla concentrated very hard to make an amazing mask she has been able to use her strengthening fine motor skills to place the stickers where she wants them. Wynter and Hamilton have enjoyed making cups of teas and toast in home corner today to help Levii feel welcome.
