Hello families and welcome to Tuesday
Today we welcomed Austin to our class today who is very excited to join the kindergarten class. He has settled well making friends with all and enjoying his day.
We have also continued exploring the human body today looking at how the digestive system works. The children were very interested to learn that the food they eat travels from their stomach through their intestines and finally out their bottoms. I do believe that was the best part. We have also looked at a short educational video about the process so the children should have lots to tell you about stomach juices tonight.
The boys have been busy today exploring the construction toys today making space ships to take them to the moon. We have also been able to explore the arts and craft trolley and create some hanging decorations for the classroom. The children have enjoyed exploring some stickers and using the scissors to cut paper in straight lines.
We have had a lovely day greeting our new friend and we look forward to many more adventures together.
