Jingeri!

Ivy and Owen practiced some name writing today with the paints. Miss Shannan was painting her name and the children asked for her to help them do the same. She then proceeded to write their names in dot form and the children traced the dots to complete their names. They were both very proud with their paintings.

Ella and Harper enjoyed completing the alphabet puzzles. They practiced their letter recognition skills as they sorted through the pieces to find their matches. They took their time making connections between the letters and the pictures, “D, dog!”.

Riley and Christopher took their dinosaurs and gorillas on many adventures today. They used the mat to create a ramp for them to fly off and even took them for a tour of the doll house to terrorise the sleeping people inside “Rahhhhh!”.

Emerson and Hendrix had lots of fun building “big houses” with the beds. The houses had lots of walls and tunnels for entrances and exits.

Outside Miss Shannan set up our new aqua play system. The children helped place the ramps and ladders within the system, excitedly watching on as Miss Shannan filled it up with water. The group quickly jumped in to play, racing the boats and sailors through the system. Ryan decided to bring the sea animals out for a swim, splashing them about in the water and diving them under the bridges.

Macy decided to create with the empty box from the play system. She brought it over to the mats and pillows to create her own homely space. She found it very funny when her friends walked past and she called “BOO!”.

Bonnie enjoyed some cooking time in the outdoor home space, she and Macy created. She sourced ingredients from the garden, mixing them all together in her bowl, before serving them up on a plate.

Mr Daniel came for ARAKAN today. The children had lots of fun completing Mr Dan’s games and activities. Their favourite part was when they held Mr Dan’s glove on the tip of their hands, and he used his strength to make it go flying through the air. The children squeal and laugh every single time.
