Good morning. A quiet morning as Scarlett and Sienna gathered and played with cars, pushing them around the car mat then loading them onto the truck carriers. Wynter played with the plastic animals and made them a farm home with trees, rocks, LEGO houses and barriers. Outdoors Lucas practiced his aim to shoot basketball hoops. Bikes and scooters enhanced balance and gross motor skills. A lovely warmer morning that had us staying outdoors a little longer today. Indoors children voted to play silent ball, then we transitioned to school with catch the ball and name your favourite school subject. PE and Art topped the votes. One the way to school we sliced and tasted the very sweet strawberries from our garden. Yum.

Due to rain and wind this afternoon, we gathered in another room. Loads of fun as the home corner turned into a pizza bar. Making pizzas, chefs hats, taking turns to be customers, taking orders and being chefs. Logan played with a sense of agency as he constructed a large wooden track on the carpet. Enhancing autonomy as Izzy, Taylor, Scarlett and Sienna tried on various costumes. Tying straps, doing up zippers and buttons. Creatively adding layers and adding props, Logan judged the best dressed. Ellie, Mariah and Maha completed puzzles, decked out the dolls house with play furniture and drew pictures. Song requests of music and dancing added to a fun atmosphere. Β I have lots of great photos on my iPad if you would like to see them, please just ask if I don’t catch up with you.

Thanks for visiting the OSHC page. Have a safe weekend, looking forward to seeing you all again next week.
