Hello OSHC Families. Welcome back to the Before and after school Care on this lovely sunny day. This morning the children helped to set up an obstacle course in the playground. Creative thinking as they positioned balance beams and hoops going up to the tree house and back down. Matilda and Ruby cooked up  cupcakes. Role playing as they poured water into spoons and cups to measure ingredients before stirring in a big bowl. Lucas and Jordan kicked the footy, aiming for various nominated goals. Children later joined together to play a group game of the very popular hide and seek and tag. A visit to the garden to water the plants and compost. Talks with Tia, fostering dogs, brought about our transition question of catch the ball and nameyour favourite dog.

This afternoon we were lucky to dodge the rain. A group story of a dinosaur ate my hair. Then the children played ball games in the small yard. Lucy, Matilda, Scarlett and Bobby, Falagi, Lucas and Sienna kicked the soccer ball. Teaming up in groups of 2. To play against each other. “We’ve got 6 and you’ve 5” announced Sienna as she clapped her hands excitedly. Owen and Jaxon conversed together to problem solve and complete  a large floor jig saw puzzles. Later in the yard, we stood in a circle, throwing the ball to each other, enhancing gross motor and hand eye coordination.

If you would like to see some photos please ask as I would love to share them with you. Thanks for visiting the OSHC page. Have a lovely day and night. See you again soon. 🦋🌺👋🌻😷😎🎉🐌🐝☀️ Miss Lea
