Happy Friday parents and caregivers,
what a productive day we have had in Pre Kindy today. During group time Bek asked the children what they would like to start their next learning journey on, we spoke about the following themes:
- Ocean
- Dinosaurs
- Volcano’s
- Space
- Fireworks
As a class we decided to extend our learning on dinosaurs, we can’t wait to start exploring next week.
During activity time Miss Bek set up the easels for painting today we explored the colours Orange, purple, white, red, pink, blue and gold glitter. We made sure we put on aprons and Miss Tiff supervised the activity. Harry, wilder, Colton, Delila and Chanel explored the train tracks in our construction zone, this was a calm experience and they all worked really well engaging in play together. Harper, Bjorn, Skylah, Ariana and Charlotte role played mums and babies again using the mat area as their ‘home’ and using the beds to make a safe space.

The outdoor environment was very busy, we shared the environment with Kindergarten 1 and Senior kindy. The mud kitchen seems to be the place to be the children cooked up a storm using kitchen utensils and the natural environment.
Colton and his Kindergarten friends used bamboo pieces to form a race track for the cars, they set this up on the rock wall adjacent to the mud kitchen. We also had races down the slides, rode the bikes, took turns on the swing, extended our gross motor skills on the climbing equipment and raced the trucks down the hill.
