What better way to spend our Thursday then being outdoors!
Today is Outdoor Classroom day which was perfect for our class today as they absolutely love the outdoors and being active. Our friend Marlie even suggest that we make some new rules the other day about spending more time outside. We basically grabbed our whole classroom and moved it outside under the shade of the veranda. The children’s favourite experiences were included such as our hair salon, cars and the cars mat, large blocks, small world play with the farm animals and water colour painting. Hendrix also asked if we could have water play with the ocean animals.
We had so so so much fun playing and engaging in the experiences and bopping around to some of our favourite Disney song! Mr Daniel came over to call some small groups to join in on Martial Arts. It was another great way to get active and enjoy the outdoors 😊
Before lunch we explored the sandpit and then sat outside in the shade for our delicious lunch which everyone LOVED!
After our rest we read ‘Hansel and Gretel’ which was chosen by Oliver. They always seem to really enjoy the old classic tales.
