We made it to June, this year is definitely flying by.
Miss Lara was back in Pre Kindergarten today with Miss Bek, ready for a busy day of exploring. We continued to paint sticks with our fingers today as per the children request, we reused the paint from yesterday and the children had a blast. it got a little bit messy, but messy is always fun. The children also requested to continue making paper chain pythons today.
In our construction zone the magnetic blocks were a hit! The children used them to extend on shape and colour recognition as well as constructing with. this opened up a lot of discussions amongst the children. On the mat area we explored the basket of animals. The children added the dinosaurs to the mix again and initiated a game of hide and seek with them.
The dramatic play area was transformed into a salon, the children used the utensils to do each others hair wile others explored the fire fighter dress-ups.
Dramatic play was moved into the outdoor environment. The children made a grocery store using the junior engineer set as food. The bikes were used to go through pretend drive thru to pick up their groceries. The climbing equipment was placed in the treehouse today they were used to make see-saw’s on top of the safety mats.

Reminders:
– Please remember to pack a jumper and closed in shoes, the weather is getting a lot cooler and we want to ensure your little ones are kept warm.
– A lot of hats have not been returned, for us to implement appropriate sun safety practices we do require your child wears a brimmed hat, please have a look at home or in the car for your child’s hat, otherwise hats are able to be purchased from the front office.
