Good afternoon families,
Happy Mid Week 🙂 it is so good to see our friends who we have not yet seen after the Easter break, the children are all filled with stories and tales of the Easter Bunny coming to visit them.
This morning saw the rain hold off for a bit so we got todo some outside play, we had children in the kitchen baking up a storm. They source ingredients from their surroundings and the best part is mixing all of it together with water! We had children racing around the bike track showing off their skills om how they can ride on the bikes and scooters. Miss Bec then gave us all a surprise, she brought out some bubbles! So all the children got to work on their hand eye coordination when trying to pop the bubbles! They all had a blast popping away 🙂 We then got ourselves ready to go in for group time.
We started group time with our  indigenous acknowledgment, the children are getting really good at talking along. We then did some learning around the Alphabet, because the more we practice the more we learn and soon enough we become experts. We then got ourselves ready for morning tea, in which Miss Bek would show a letter and if the children’s name began with that letter they were then able to go, this was a fun way of getting the children to focus on name recognition. We enjoyed morning tea and then moved into some activities, today the children chose to play with playdough and puzzles.
The afternoon is going to be great! Filled with fun and activities, if the weather holds we will head outside, if not Miss Bek has some exciting sensory bottles to make with the children.
We hope that everyone has a great afternoon and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow 🙂
