Good afternoon to our Pre Kindy and Senior Kindy families. Today we joined together in Pre Kindy room for a fun day of activities & science exploration with all of our friends, and Kaylee came to visit for a transition day. She was very excited to explore the playground & join in all the fun. Our activities today included some magic butterfly paintings that both India & Eva were eager to show to Miss Lyn. Our bugs & beetles were again popular today, as Xavier, Hazel, Marshall & Harley showed keen interest in looking at them closely through the magnifying glasses. 🐞🐜🦗🐛🕷🐝 Marble painting was another activity that proved very popular with Kianni, who assisted in mixing oil & food colouring, then pouring it across water before pressing paper onto it to make a print. We also made a witches brew, showing the children the scientific process of mixing different ingredients together to create a fizzy reaction. We visited the jumping sacks again today as the children all enjoy this activity so much. Lots of giggling & laughter as Asher, Zander & Ellie all jumped towards the finish line. Our other activities today included – giant LEGO construction, Sticker fun with animals, Mobilo construction, making cars, swinging on the swing, listening to a story about construction machinery in the sandpit & riding our bikes.
