Good Afternoon families,
Happy Friday 🙂 We hope that everyone has had another fantastic week
This morning we welcomed Latika, Ariana, Alexander, Vaughan, Bjorn Charlotte, Myla, Romney, Harry, Amelia Cohen & Lincoln. As we celebrate Nature Play week the educators of the center filled our outdoor area with play based activities in which we could connect with nature in different ways. We started our day with outside play where we had so much going on. A group of children were sitting down on the outside matt participating in story time, others were being explores out to catch all things that fly with their nets. We had children looking and picking flowers from our garden to.
We then headed inside for an early morning tea, this morning we had granola, yoghurt, pears and melon! This seems to be one of the favourites amongst the children! We had an early morning tea as we has special guest come to visit us! We got to watch a Puppet show ! it was such a fun puppet show, it had so many different puppets including a chicken which was the children’s favourites. The puppeteers then came out to teach the children how the puppets worked!
Lunch today was make your own burgers along with our salad bar.
For rest time we got todo something really cool, we had rest time outside in the treehouse! The children were so excited they said it was like the get to going camping ! All children helped bring their beds up and made their beds before lying down to rest.
The afternoon will bring us some yummy food and more activities todo outside in nature!
