Good Afternoon families and friends. Happy Friday! This morning while outdoors some of the children used the climbing frame and chilled in the outdoor classroom, some pushed their friends on the swing, while others went on the hunt for “ingredients” to use in their outdoor cooking role play. We then came inside and after washing our hands we all sat on the mat for morning group time. After our acknowledgment to country Miss Lyn read the story of The Gruffalo to us, before chatting about our mornings activities and transitioning to morning tea. Our first activity of the morning was painting, where the children showcased their creativity with all things green and red. Other things they choose to do were – car play, role play with the babies, dress ups in home area and Reading books. Then we had Funky Feet Dance with Miss Jen, where we got our groove on to some fun Christmas tunes. Our fun will continue this afternoon with more out door play.
