Good afternoon families and friends and welcome to our fun Friday. This morning our friends chose to engage in outdoor play in pairs and small groups, playing on the hill, reading books in the cubby, measuring and pouring in the sandpit and riding the bikes. Then it was time to start our indoor activities which included saying our acknowledgement to country with Miss Lyn before she read us the story called “The Very Cranky Bear”. It was lovely to see the children dressed in their floral outfits to celebrate Floral Friday & we also celebrated Daffodil Day as the children created a beautiful collage of daffodils with patty cases, pom poms and paddle pop sticks. They also chose to make a beautiful handprint border around their daffodils & Miss Shanaya helped us with this … such fun! Thankyou all for your gold coin donations! Other activities were a game of which animal am I with Miss Livia, pretending to be monkeys, lions, crocodiles and making animal noises. We also took part in Funky Feet Dance class with Miss Jen, where we were very excited to work on our fantastic dance moves with the pom poms …. such a fabulous day!
