Good afternoon to all our Pre Kindy families, we have had a fantastic Monday, welcoming another new friend, Theo to our Pre Kindy Room. Today the children were excited to create caterpillars out of egg cartons, as a follow on activity to Miss Lyn reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar last Friday. Monsters were also moulded out of play dough after we sang our very popular Monster Monster Song with Miss Donna. We gave them spiky bodies with match sticks & also googly eyes & coloured rocks for teeth. Other activities enjoyed today were – sponge painting, building with the small LEGO blocks, our dinosaur counters, & painting on coloured paper with Neon Paints that Miss Lyn brought in as a surprise. Our outdoor activities included – bike racing, pushing our friends on the swing, textra drawing, playing aeroplanes on the climbing mound, sandpit fun & reading on the cushions with Miss Donna.
