Good afternoon Pre Kindy & Senior Kindergarten Families, this morning we had Ellie B (our Senior Kindergarten friend) come to play with us. While looking out the window Braxton spied a pair of ducks going on a walk just outside the playground. Arlo asked if we could go & look at them, so before our other friends arrived, we quickly went to the fence & watched them wander past. Once we came back indoors Braxton & Mace used some tubing to create houses & a very long fence. Xavier, Reid, Arlo & Ellie B also found the open ended materials on the tables very interesting, creating patterns on the felt boards. Eva, Ellie & Hazel decided home corner was the place to be & took delight in caring for their babies. Then we put on our sunscreen & hats & had some free play activities in the playground before lunch. Marshall & Reid went on a dinosaur dig in the sandpit, whilst Myah & Hazel enjoyed the slides. Other activities we enjoyed today were – books & stories with Miss TJ – painting our feet with Miss Lyn – the colour connector blocks – bike riding & creating things with playdough.
